In Memoriam

The Society mourns the loss of Peter Pole, repetiteur extraordinaire, who passed away 15/12/04.

Peter was Pianist for the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of South Australia for over 27 years.

A much loved friend and a true gentleman, Peter's dedication to the Society was unparalleled. He will be greatly missed by all.

At a funeral service at the Heyson Chapel in December, it was standing room only as members of the Society, spanning many generations, farewelled Peter with "Hail Poetry" and "For He Is An Englishman."

Our love and best wishes to Mon and the family.
